Personally I am still awaiting release of this one from Sony. Promises MPEG4 video (up to 54min of near DVD quality..woo! per SD card) as well as 5MP shots.

LCD Monitor Deal

This is the best price I have seen to date on a 17" LCD monitor for $199 at Tiger Direct.
Looks like the old standard VGA connector though. You can get a DVI to VGA adapter here

Update: The DVI adapter only works for ANALOG DVI signals. The DVI conector was obviously designed for maximum confusion. To see what type of DVI connector you have take a look at this site.

Packet 8

Well, I have finally took the plunge and ordered internet telephone
service. I looked at several competitors such as ...

Vonage
Packet8
BroadVoice
VOIP2
ATT CallVantage

I decided on Packet 8 because they seem to have the best
implimentation of 911 service (extra $3 a month), they offer local
number portablility, and the lowest bandwidth load. Also, I was able
to get the adaptor for free after rebate (AR) from J&R
Will keep you posted on how it actually works when I get the thing hooked up.
